Well BFDS merging with DST will cause some layoffs. Ignites says Hooley can't disclose yet how many layoffs yet

It is not only DST these days that are downsizing. Working for corporate America is pretty close to slavery. When I first started at DST in 2000, it felt like a good company. It all changed over the years and I became a slave with constant demands. I actually spoke up to the "Ethics" department then the stories started about me. I was fired and thrown out the door after 15 years. Save your money and get out while you still have a life. My life now is calm and very nice. Should of left years ago.
I noticed a lot of the the fund reps disappearing last summer. I think the company went with the tried and true back door layoff, handing out writeups to people over very small things and to establish cause and then firing them. It's too bad, but it's usually something they do after an actual layoff.
Ugh bad entry. No company wide layoffs like in June however there are a few reports of people gone but no confirmation on layoff firing or anything. Something is up I sense.
