WARN Act requires notice and if no notice is given to employee then companies are required to pay the employee severance of 60 days pay in leau of notice.

A warn notice requires they notify you not they give you severance pay.
I just got laid off last week with only a 2 week severance package ad a return ticket to India when i want to book.
