Welp if you've made it through 3 rounds of layoffs congrats! A 10% paycut is coming down the pipe next for everyone at DQ don't worry you'll get it back in 3 years if you're lucky.

Do they honestly think they'll survive for 3 years? That's laughable. If anything, they /might/ get bought by a bigger player. Dril-Quip is a garbage barge that is sinking, so jump while you still can. There may not be a lot of jobs, but there are options. If you think you can get ahead with a company that refuses to adapt, change, and grow, then you're retarded and deserve to go down with it.
Like it or not this gonna happen. Last statement from Blake D was clear it's reduction in pay DQ want nothing else. They'll do this by the book whatever country your working in, they are too smart to be caught out.
Good luck to anyone that leaves over this, there ain't no jobs out there to go too. Your decision too leave. Don't sign your reviewed contract then they'll still have you out of the door.
Only way too soften the blow is if DQ can get more work in the door, asap. If not there's bound to be more layoffs by mid summer.

I hear many are now looking else where. They've had enough of the pettiness and uncertainty of DQ. No new work coming in, more pay offs currently happening, good luck too those that are left too keep this ship afloat.
Just another kick in the balls, the place is a sinking ship nobody will get anything back! Work coming in and they do this now to have people working for less, if everyone stuck together and said no then we might have a chance but too many brown nosers will bend over to be shafted when it gets down to it
