Anyone have an insight into V&M? Keep hearing rumors about selling it off but no buyers? Also is anyone surprised why DM is still around and why his underlings are still with CAM and haven't been axed?

Dougie Meikle announced on Friday 10 January 2017 that he was off!!!! And was unreplentant in wishing all his employees goodbye, apparently SLB was not a good fit for him

Cameron Valves and Measurement does not fit the SLB business model. Why did SLB even keep them? What a slap stick organization with mediocre growth potential.

I dont see how thats possible if our new president is gonna clamp down on companies for manufacturing elsewhere and selling in the US.

Keep hearing rumors that some OKC V&M facilities will be moved into some SLB facilities this year too. Not holding my breath but i'm sure it will happen at some point.
How valid is this intel? Or is this conjecture?
