Keep client, server, and process and lop off the rest. Twenty years of lossy pet projects is enough. All the smart talking new initiatives can try convincing venture capitalists or crowdsourcing like others do

After cutting the true lowest 20% you will need massive promotions and/or hiring to replace the 90%+ of managers, directors, GMs, C-suite, etc that have been fired. Intel has become a buddy system housing incompetents at the top. Don't blame workers for the failures of management. Jobs made Apple great (not the factory), and likewise BK is destroying Intel.
OP you forgot to say " spin off TMG" and than bid out the IoT, Modem, x86, chipset and sever business to Samsung and TSMC". Would be frightening how much of the new and old product design teams would love to dump TMG
