Just because we use the term "big 4" doesn't mean that they are in the same category. To be honest, working for KPMG or EY is like being om a minor league baseball team that doesn't even have a good pro team. Please understand this is not intended to be mean, it is just reality. Therefore, if you want to be successful move to a Deloitte or PWC before you get laid off at a KPMG. They have a layoff list and I hear it is very large and will be used in Feb of 2017. Remember levels are very different. Senior at KPMG equal to Manager/sr manager at Deloitte.

It all depends on geography and practice you are talking about - in some geos and in some practices KPMG is superior
