I have quite good amount of IT experience and I have interviewed by a person from Syntel. The level of question as by the person is quite basic and I feel the technical person has good amount of theoretical knowledge than in hand knowledge. Better to re train the mid and top management else I feel personally company will not survive.

Yes! Syntel is the worst company to work for. They have no projects and can fire you anytime giving any false reason. They give no value to their employees. Management is worst here. They have no technical skills and surviving there just because of their atrocious politics. You will end up wasting important time of your life. Good luck.
Syntel would need a new CEO to come and join. Also, the existing DD, DM, VP, BU Head's, need to work now to survive. Otherwise 'Ab ki baar tumhaari baari'...

Syntel is laying off only low level employees where as VP, BU head's are all safe and doing nothing...the company CEO is also not performing, he is very negative in his speech and updates...
The HR doesn't have any say in the company but only following the CEO and mgmt.

I was just laid off today .. the reason dey said is Performance issue... bloody a--holes for last 2 years I was all a good resource .. suddenly they r raising performance concerns.. worst HRs Worst Managment..Worst Company.. never go and join syntel..
Dude, you need to stop posting the same things on multiple threads. Besides it's annoying, it probably won't be tolerated by site admins. You risk being banned, check their site rules about spamming etc.
Lot of politics, favoritism and regionalism in Syntel. They are silently laying off people not only who are on bench but also in the investment areas. Entire senior management saving their own jobs and of their close aids. News is they are going to layoff 1200-1500 people till July 2017.
Syntel is forcefully asking resources on bench & buffers are to resign, no one is safe. People are only safe if he/ she are getting billable position. Very soon Syntel will fall and some other company will take over. This is the worse company I worked with.
This company is going to shut down soon.there is no projects and every body the are terminating without any reasons. don't join this company for any better future. only DD and DMS are safe since they have good relation with the CEO. no safe for employees

Yes, Syntel are forcing Employee either to get a billable project or put down resignation... this is become a trend in Syntel...worst Management.Only senior people like DM, DD, VP are safe and trust me they are good for nothing.But still surviving...by making escapegoat to their junior resource.Please pass this message to entire IT professional and advise them never think to work with Syntel.
I'm filing case against this company soon, they will pay for it.
