CAT pays no attention to its own code of conduct

Big Yellow proves every day that it pays no attention to its own code of conduct and no ethics when it relates to "adjusting production to meet demand".

They are convinced this quote provides reason for their actions. As I heard in a song today they should" think about the consequences of their actions. " If they did, I do not know how the people making these decisions, impacting thousands of lives and families can sleep.

But they laugh all the way to the bank with their dividend checks and their generous stock options by making decisions to prop up the stock price.

Truth! Their "core values" are just words on a page, only used when convenient. The folks who actually follow and honor the core values are the ones being weeded out and let go. It's very sad to see.

A year ago, the department I was in was flat told our jobs were being transferred to India. We had to train the folks from India(great People, not their fault to be in the middle of this) to do our jobs. Given a little over two years to make the transition. Meanwhile, people and expertise walked out the door, hoping to find jobs in other departments, or other companies. Now they are down to a skeleton crew of a few to train people on a job they are covering for and barely know themselves. I went toIndia myself to train these folks. I have watched how the company shift is going to damage the quality of the parts and service that has long been a patriarch of the industry. It is damaging the reputation and it kills the morality and the integrity of the company and those trying to bandage what is left. I am lucky to have found employment elsewhere. I pray for all of those involved. God has a plan when it comes to handling Greed. I hope his hand is swift and quick so the people getting hurt can recover.

Spot on. They state their employees are their most valuable asset...yes, to use and dispose as they wish.
