Just focus on work, focus on work, work, work. I know that people are concerned but there is nothing you can do about it - yes, I did hear about layoffs in Houston.

If that is the case then I think I'll just sit here doing nothing until then just like everyone else is. If I still have a job on Dec 6th then it will be time to get back to work.
If you supervisor has stopped talking to you months ago and you have been excluded from anything important that is going on in your department than you can be pretty certain that your name is on the list. Do yourself a favor and start removing some of your personal belongings like family photo's, posters etc. ahead of time. Better than having your boss rustle through your personal belongings and tossing it into a box for you to come pick up later.
That is correct! The next layoff in Houston is Dec. 5th. There is nothing you can do about it, the names are already picked so just do your job and work! Knowing that you are going to be laid off is so bad for the moral and no one wants to help or do anything.
