Keep dancing, Tim!
tempe is having a current layoff here in AZ ....
22 warehouse
48 pharmacy members and so forth...
they say there downsizing and they dont need all of us apparently. what a shame
Underperforming Stock = More layoffs
You give that exec team too much credit....They are running out of lipstick and The Street has noticed....it will be great wearing a red smock and working at the corner of health and happiness!
i disagree the executive team knows exactly what they are doing and in doing so they are raising there stock prices for there shareholders and taking in more profits. These layoffs were planned months maybe even years ago, and they trickle so it doesn't hurt the company
Express Scripts does what many other corporations do they cut people get rid of them like nothing why? because thats the biggest expense sure they could cut just about anything else but why? the easiest thing to cut is personnel.
this company will never go bankrupt and its only gonna get bigger it will be the amazon of pbms
Welcome to Fantasy Island! Today's suggested reading: The Emperor's New Clothes.
I seriously doubt that Express Scripts has an executive leadership team that can lead in time of crisis....And their first mistake is thinking that all is well at this time. You don't right the ship by continually throwing the crew overboard!
Last one out, turn off the lights.
All of this and Anthem hasn't left yet! Need more lipstick on that pig, please!
Senior leadership in the bunker!
They announced that Peublos call center will be closing. Did anyone hear anything about the at home team? I heard 60 people in New Jersey are being let go now!

Seems to be a small wave every Weds from mid January till now. Cuts are across the board, account management, clinical, SAMO, Finance, Specialty. This has nothing to do with rebates or recent short sellers, everything to do with Anthem and 2020. Sr Management is incapable of figuring out HOW to hit are aggresive cost cut targets for when Anthem leaves or renews. Cuts seem to be being made across the board with complete disregard for what the impact to clients or patients may be
I was laid off from the Nashville specialty pharmacy division in March 2016. I worked with the Commercial side of specialty billing. They were losing $100k's of money daily based on just what I saw - dispensing high priced drugs to out of network patients, improper handling of temp sensitive biologics. They thought they could hire people with no experience, pay them nothing, and afford to take the losses caused by the poor staff because of the insane rebate program. I wish I had sold my stock months ago R.I.P 401k.
Specialty Pharmacy Reps were laid off! Some Account Managers as well! More scaling for growth
Does anyone know which sites laid off specialty techs?
Heard 70 were let go this week within specialty division. Anyone else have more info or able confirm?
ES is bleeding cash. https://www.morningoutlook.com/02-02-2017/large-outflow-of-money-witnessed-in-express-scripts-holding-company/
Interesting how many top dogs are cashing in their own chips right before Vday reporting
its more like this with express scripts and if your cool with that well i don't blame you

The ship is taking water fast, folks...

Express Scripts Short Sale
The reduction of prescription drug costs is a high-profile, bipartisan issue. This issue was discussed by Trump during his campaign and during his TIME Magazine interview.
Express Scripts' cost structure is often singled out as "low hanging fruit" in the coming effort to reduce prescription drug costs.
This stock could be one tweet or executive order away from a significant correction. And/or the coming legislative process on drug costs is likely to negatively impact this stock.
Anon from 13 days ago hit the nail on the head. If you are making decent money for ESI, bail asap and sell your options on the way out. They need a good balance sheet in Feb, or it will be St Valentine massacre. Read between the lines.

Express Scripts: Rebate System is a Financial Engineering Kickback Scheme
The worst part: Conclusion: It is simple math: If ESRX loses 50% of its rebates, they lose 30% of EPS, and the stock goes straight to $45.
I heard layoffs are coming starting feb. 1, don't have any details about what departments it will affect, etc..
Express Scripts has the reputation of nullifying it's poor management by laying off members of its work family. It's a shell game to make the Company look good to Wall Street..,their version of lipstick on a pig!
Better start working on that Resume. Used to work for Medco when Express Scripts took over. Layoff rumors were flying around. It wasn't until 2014 when I was let go along with the rest of my department.
Word to the wise........ Start looking for another job. You'll be glad you did.
Live every day fearing site closure.
