Has the layoff been announced lately are there rumors is there any updates on what's going on - I am referring to layoffs in Bethpage.

What good does it do (now) to co tinue posting on this site and not bring it to the attention of the media?
There are enough posting on here.
Find media that is willing to take a look at this site, do the work, make the story.
If all we do is chatter amongst ourselves about "what has happened or what is coming" then we have done nothing.
Its like being in a boat and rowing toward the waterfall that everyone talks about.
Call the media conglomerates and aak to be anonymous at first because of fear of backlash.

Some layoff notices given today.
The HB1 workers are not skilled more than American workers but instead they get a lower wage so it's cheaper to keep them and fire American workers. Such unfair business practice because American workers have to train them to do the work. It is time the HB1 Visa program be evaluated. American students are graduating with equal education to those of HB1 Visa students but cannot find jobs because of corporate America hiring cheap labor. Basically HB1 Visa encourages companies to cut American job opportunities right in our own backyard.
Altica has started a new company called ATS. The are sending offers out to some of the works. If you are not pick your time will come to a end. That is there loophole to let people go. I do recall them telling NYS that they were not going to let anyone go for 1 or 2 years. We are at the 6 month mark that they have taken over.
Inbound sales is getting Customer Service callls transferred from Dominican Republic !!
I just spoke to a high up management type and he said they are looking to have 80% contractors by the end of 2017. But they will not be able to layoff the union shops.

I fully expect more layoffs before the holidays. Perfect timing for them as they can get rid of more hard working employees. That and they can scale down the Christmas party... if they even bother to have one
