Again, what?
What?
Feb 13? Which year?
Monday, the 13th, is notifcation day for February casualties.
No fresh news?
Time will tell
I was there! I heard it too!
HP is clinging to one hope that is still a decade away... 3D printing. They will need many more years of cutting to prevent fatal bleeding. Moving their IT systems and data into the "cloud" is intended to enable cutting the remaining IT headcount (starting with US-based employees).
Got news eary pink slipped they are coming through CSC HPE
Margins have improved but sales are still wallowing. Probably due to huge sales force and management churn.
Well, THAT was special.
Any fresh news?
true
Bill and Dave (despite STILL being dead, as of last time I checked), would never-the-less make for FAR better management than we currently have with the mis-management by Meg!
See lawsuits against HPE about age discrimination and also about severe failure to deliver contracted services to Rhode Island's DMV, among other things... From what I have seen, I am willing to bet my last dollar that a major reason why the RI DMV deal went south, is that most of the experienced, expert coders were let go, in favor of brand-new college grads and H-1B immigrants....
I HIred Bill and Davw
Bill and Dave would have both been WFRed, except that they are dead.
With much love & kisses from the (fictional) "Hardlips Peckhard" corporation, which do, indeed, peck very, VERY hard! If'n ye work there, chances are VERY good that sooner or later, "the kiss of death" will find your job... Then you'll be black-listed from future employment, and then "Hardlips Peckhard" will claim they've just GOT to hire H-1B immigrants, because they just can NOT find qualified Americans ANYWHERE!
Meanwhile, I am having fun abroad! ha ha ;)
In Palo Alto or the whole company?
