Whenever you think there will be no layoffs they change the approach. Now all people are talking about job cuts in Bethesda.

Layoffs announced today, in Virginia.
Lockheed Fort Worth will lose all F-16 jobs and F-35 jobs set to reduce by 25%
South Carolina jobs will not increase as the TX program is not likley to be won (Boeing exceeds most requirments so they will get best value and remain in the "fighter" business, a win-win for the USG, so the few employees already there will be put on F-16 "if" that ever gets moved to South Carolina. Lockheed Martin told Trump they would save F-16 jobs, but that is semantics. They will offer jobs if the employee moves themselves and absorbs all expenses associated wioht the move, hence, no one form Fort Worth gets a job in SC.
No room for engineering either, no TX, no more F-16, and reduced F-35 mens massive layoffs for engineerign also, so the only future may lie in Palmdale for ADP programs if we can win more.
The rumour might be a little stronger, given that Trump says he's gonna cut the F-35 program. You 39k Texans working on the F-35... I'm sure that Trump will provide you with a burger manufacturing job somewhere...
Yes, layoffs are coming..... the (Rumors) are correct. 2017/2018......
Looks like that same turd is posting "rumors" of layoffs on all the major defense contractor forums on thelayoff.com. I became suspicious because each of the major contractor forums I visited included a very similar post mentioning layoffs at the corporate HQ city... even though there are relatively few people employed by Lockheed Martin in Bethesda MD.
