I spent last 10 years with our company and it'd be a real shame if they were to decide to lay people off from our offices in Peoria.

caterpillar had a saying many years ago the company that cares . but you all still wear cat shirts . you are showing people you are one of a few left. you cant be proud of the company your working for.
They laid off a lady in the north Little Rock facility who had been with the company for 20 years also who they had also moved from her home in illinois to Little Rock to help better their quality department she was the best one their they got rid of her and kept the garbage. Also they let me go after being their for 5 years, after being told I was one of the best workers in the facility i too was also let go. And they kept garbage over me. So yes I concur they don't give a care about employees........ all you are is just a number.
I'm sure you've noticed the 1000s who have been let go from the Peoria facilities. Similar reductions across the US.
Since when did Caterpillar start caring about people. Since the 70's all they have ever cared about is making or saving a $$$
