Thread regarding DeVry Inc. layoffs

Trump U settles lawsuit!

So, the Divider-in-Chief elect has settled the lawsuit against his fraudulent university for $25 million, with the stipulation that he admits no wrongdoing. He has said he wants to start it back up! With his desire to dismantle the Dept. of Ed. and who knows what other consumer protection agencies, could there be a flood of unscrupulous so-called schools in the next few years?

I think DeVry has generally tried to be ethical, but in a few months, there may be no watchdogs to make certain. Caveat emptor!

If you think Hillary was the right choice for for profits , you're dead wrong. She had a plan in place to take us all down. If u work for a for profit you should be kissing the ground u walk on that djt was elected

sounds like the last poster wants to ignore the last 10 years. Just a small 10 year ethical lapse, that's all.

Sounds like the last poster has/had a problem with DeVry (or is Trump himself tweeting). Whatever the issue was/is, nobody should denigrate the thousands of employees who, over the last 85 years, dedicated themselves to their students. Difficult to stay in business that long if the entire company is unethical. Just look at some of the things done recently:

Certainly, the last ten years or so saw changes that impacted the quality and harmed the reputation. Unfortunately, those things can happen when a company goes from privately held to one answering to stock holders. Far too easy to lose your focus when revenue drops.
