I took it in my butt and got laid off, hard to find a job.
That isn't what my manager implanted in my butt and probably would feel better than the cold hard rod I had to take to keep my job. Of course I am in IT and we don't bend over like HR.
What ever happened to the good old Devon IT department when the IT people spent there day having s-x in the parking lot?
That was Devon IT at its best.
Chip away CHK rejects in IT, architects, managers, every one of them, they don't belong at Devon, nothing but leeches.

Overpaid
ANd yet some Devon salaried employees overworked 12-14 hour days with no comp time.
I never got chipped but they did stick something in my butt.
Some of them need chipping. One high paid IT architect, just spends his work days roaming the building and flirting with the ladies. He knows nothing about IT architecture, but being black and a former college football player makes him untouchable. One long time high paid oil engineer spent much of his work days visiting the local casinos. He's no longer with Devon, but he got a better separation package than most.
