@My SVP

Its easy they were probably told if you quit on your own, then we will sweeten your layoff package .

But if we have to asked you to leave then you will be given the basic layoff package.

I seen cases were people were hmm encourage to leave so they could get a nice package and the

right to collect unemployment .

What about all of the layoffs that we were expecting before the end of the year? Has anyone heard anything about this yet? I find it very surprising that they haven't had any major layoffs since it was written that they planned on laying off 7,000 employees before 2020. Maybe they changed their plans but I doubt it.

My SVP quit - which in my world means he was let go. The last two that 'Quit' I found out from them afterwards that they were let go and the firm let them leave gracefully. Which there was one contradictory to that, who did actually quit, and they made him leave the premises immediately. Nothing this company does is consistent.
