So now the scramble to save jobs have started. On the last conference call we were shown a slide on integrity. As soon as the slide was gone, we were told that if we weren't cheating we weren't trying. So let's all take csats from home, fill out rewards, and ring in clearance as esp. That will keep us open. Great job shira on trying to send a message, but nobody's listening.

Let's offer the customer in iShip the option to receive email notifications for shipments, to just turn around and sign the customer up for rewards without them knowing.
Let's add Liquid Armour into the price off all of the technology services prices to get rid of the failed product we overbought.
Let's tear off the csat/copysat/techsat when we piss off a customer, instead of taking the negative comments and use them to our advantage.
Let's ignore the needs of our negative comping stores when they desperately need materials and machines to get the job done.
Let's release a program in PMS when the website doesn't work or hasn't been beta/pilot tested.
Let's let 5 training mods run at once to get training done, not for learning, but to get the extra payroll.
Let's mark PMS orders as picked up to meet our ridiculous and unbelievably high budgets for the week.
Everything is ethical and effective here!
You're exactly right.... it's all about getting rid of people now. They want to drive employees away without severance or UI, so the best thing to do is harass them and take away rewards.
Stores are a god damn joke. They have nothing close to the staffing levels needed to drive sales the way Shira is describing. So what's the plan? Abandon office supplies and leave it unstaffed 50% of the time so trucks do not get put out, PoGs do not get done and the ZBs are all faked because there is NO ONE to do pull lists. The first thing a new IS learns is how to finesse the ZB to keep up appearances.
Why can't the IS or Ops sup do all these functions???? Because when they are not buried in tasks they are MoDing. This company is a joke and I can't wait for all the layoffs after the holidays. RVPs, DMs, ALPMs......bye bye.... cheating won't help at this point.
@@Kh1TzYP-7pjp This is an example of how they cheat. These are direct quotes from Shira:
"The second key metric for midmarket is sales beyond office supplies. These categories make up about 40% of our midmarket contract sales mix,..."
"Today, half of our sales are in categories beyond office supplies..."
Is it 40% or over 50% Shira??? You really expect to get a 50% bump from 40% to 60% in BOSS, with a commercial sales staff, B2B's and SAL's that are beat down and tired to strategy changes no that 20/20 is going? Retail is decimated, they don't have the staffing hours nor people who care any longer to help in reaching that goal.
Is 20/20 going to be a dismal failure like 20 by 10? 20 billion is sales by 2010, remember that? Acquired CE in 2008, made them a 24 billion dollar company and POed just about every CE customer. But, I digress.
Stop getting beat down, get out before the next round of layoff's 20/20 is just code for get rid of people, they're doing it now with people being placed on PIP's for things that were OK before. Missed your goal by 3%, oh that fine, good luck next year!
Earnings call (3rd QTR) tomorrow, the 17th.
Lets see just how bad they need to cheat.
The media is already aware of this site. The best you can do is continue to document the actions of this failing company right here. It also helps shareholders make decisions on whether they should continue to invest in this company.
THIS should be reported to the media
As much as I want to think they can not cut store payroll any more, I know they can and will.
Cheating on metrics at this point will not do much good. It has already been decided who is getting the boot in January and what stores are closing. Getting Platinum CSATS in Nov and Dec won't stop the store from closing. High ESP & rewards penetration throughout a district will not prevent a DM already on the list from being let go.
Also. the LP guys are just waiting in the wings to catch scammers and justify their own positions.
If you get busted in a store do you REALLY think the DM that told you to cheat on a conference call is going to back you up with LP?? It's a no win situation.
That is what it is ALL about at this point, in Framingham, in the field offices, Contract, SDOs or stores -
JUSTIFY why you still have a job, even if it is an impractical plan and/or causes more grief for others.
Best move is to get out ASAP.
one proven money maker is to relabel low price generic products as high price branded products. For instance, you can take a pair of cheap $12 headphones and stick them in a Beats product box which sells for $200.
Buy a burn phone thats whai did #2 in the region on csat. That was easy!
I can't wait to see how this turns out, it will be fun to watch.
It does not really matter, cheating on metrics will do them no good at this point. Top level execs and HR already know what DMs and RVPs will be let go. They were chosen according to salary, not by performance, just like they did to GMs. VS...your time is almost up. Enjoy the holidays.
It was a dm. Stated that's what they were told to do in Orlando at the meeting
DMs and RVPs are both in line for layoffs in January. There is no need for so many of these $80k to $250k + positions when retail is dwindling.
Of course they are desperate, there is no way they will find an equivalent position elsewhere in retail. If they are very fortunate they may find a position a level lower, at half the pay. Hope they were padding their 401ks because many of their careers will be over in 2 months.
Was it a DM or RVP saying this? It really shows how desperate they are saying this outright, where the possibility of a recording exists.
Sounds a lot like Wells Fargo, where the culture of fraud was handed down from on high, but the lower level people either caught at it or complaining about it were fired. Get the order on tape or in writing before you go down that slippery slope. It sounds like they are trying to set people up to be fired.
