The reason there is no news for the massive layoff at Sparton, LLC this week is because Sparton failed to submit the "WARN" notifications to the Federal and State Authorities.
80 people were terminated including 25 in upper management and 55 hourly employees.
Examples: VP of Operations, VP of Programs, the Director of Quality Assurance, 80% of the entire Quality Assurance Department, Program Managers, Sr. Planning Manager, Supervisor of Production Inspection, and many more. It is believed the company is positioning itself for divestiture.
