classic broadcom employee should be grateful for the new broadcom LTD

you may complain the environment change etc. But take a look at your salary, your bonus and your stock, they compensate you a lot. Previously lots of young BRCM guys have no stock or bonus and old guys are just sitting and vesting. Now under new Ltd, at least the young guys are happier and these young guys represent the future of the company

So we finally got the bonus statement. For some reason they thought classic broadcom people could be given 15% rather than 20% like classic Avago people. So on-top of taking 20% off for the "pro-rating" due to classic broadcom becoming Broadcom Limited in Feb, they thought another 25% could be taken from classic Broadcom people...just because they feel like it.

I have an offer on the table and was planning on leaving, but maybe I'll stick around and do nothing just because you pissed me off. Next year you will be paying me 100% of the 20% bonus and won't get sh-- from me. And don't worry about me getting layed off, I will be one of the last. It doesn't take a lot to stand-out in the crowd that is left. You really f---ed up this company. F--- you Hock!

New Broadcom (Avago) gives good number of RSUs. True. But guess what, Hock is not generous! On an average most people only see less than 30% of their stocks vested. Most people either get laid off or leave before they see the stocks vest. And please remember, if you have got unusually good numbers of RSUs, you are sure to be laid off before the first installment vests.

With all the b---s--- going on right now inside broadcom, i wonder when this company is going to shut itself down to save cost, and ppl are bragging about the rsu and bonuses, soon you will be just like homeless ppl that camped outside ridder park HQ. are they formal avago tards who once prided themselves with rsus?

I can't stand this continuous talking about the money: benefits are much worse than in previous Broadcom, in any sense. We don't even get the flu shot this year. Health care next year will be way worse, RSU are vesting annually so if you are fired in the middle of the year byebye stocks, Layoffs are steadily happening, complete line of products being shut down (not sold, shut down). R&D is reduced to none. Even the internal IT support is widely cut. WHO CARES ABOUT THE LITTLE EXTRA MONEY!!!!!?!?!?!?

Oh. Like the bonus this year. Classic Broadcom employees only get 80% of the bonus because we technically did not work for Broadcom Ltd at the beginning of the year we worked for Broadcom Classic. So that 15 or 20% you were expecting you get 80% of that. That is your "reward" for doing the work of 5 people. I keep noticing people getting laid off and leaving, but the work load stays the same for the group.

But remember, on your way out, it doesn't matter..

You would have spent so much time and years behind the company and in an instant you'll mean nothing .. Not sure if the bank balance only will being cheer at this time ..
