They are executing your plan to take a fortune 500 company with an exceptionally talented workforce and quickly destroy it through intimidation and retaliation. You will be happy to hear that morale is lower than in March.

Two types of folks on here: Those bashing others that haven't performed and thought they could ride gravy train while staying status qou. Status qou is changing. Core values are real, those evaluating core value performance... may be questionable candidates. Empower your employees more. We are just as qualified. Sitting commander in chief is no longer the leader. Big difference. Support and build up your soldiers. Reward them. Do you realize they run your business? Instead of worrying about bringing in new boots on ground, take care of those on the ground by bringing them to safer ground first. Puzzle pieces falling into place now. Goodbye status qou, welcome people who care.
Other people have lost faith in leaders due to buddy buddy up the ladder. One way to drown a boat is getting top heavy and thinking the structure can ride waves. Ha. Tough decisions are far and few between. Just because you have a body with a resume doesn't mean you have the right candidate. No reason to keep on board if not the right fit. Self reflect. Can you do more or worried about what others are doing around you?
Be safe. Keep us on track and improving. Don't let ineptitude at a higher level lead to more reports and policies to make buddy buddy feel good about boots on ground. Get on the ground and hear our stories and suggestions.
