Quality Assurance- critiquing every single call you take

We have people who have never been in admissions EVER critiquing everything we say and every call we make. Who cares about an actual conversation as long as we check the boxes... it's a f***ing joke!

We sound like idiot robots making sure we hit ever point to validate someone in QA's job. I thought Quality Assurance was to make sure we never said something out of compliance.

I don't know about you but my coworkers are always on edge. Everyone I work with is afraid to answer the phone and feels constant harassment. Every call we take we are called into the office and are critiqued on everything we say; and wrong on 9 out of 10 calls and no Q&A is consistent.

It's sad because people who love what they do are constantly getting told they have no idea how to talk to someone on the phone and no longer comfortable.

We want the people doing Q&A to take some live calls (actual conversations that are not scrippted like they think) and show us how a perfect call should go. Also, let's make sure they show for an appointment and bring a POG to a school they are not even sure about attending yet. Don't forget to ask them to bring someone including some stranger they pulled off the street to come.

Q&A should be just making sure we never said anything out of compliance. We wonder why we have a manager now because Q&A tells us everyday that we don't know what we are doing and how we should refrase and not be ourselves on every call. Very sad

The reason you have to follow a script is because old Everest enrollment literally lied through their teeth to hard sell prospects. That is also the MAJOR reason Corinthian is out of business and ecmc is unwinding it's Corinthian "investments.". Ecmc purchased these "schools" as a sweetheart deal for loan collections..The Corinthian schools will lose money, but they are going to swim in the money the ED promised them in loan collections. Losers.

The misrepresentation issue is a key reason for the dissolution of CCI. The fact that the issue continues is alarming. It makes DOE's unflagging support of ECMC all the more disgusting. They continue to send hundreds of millions of loans to them as a way for ECMC to recover millions more than they are losing through Zenith. What a farce.

If you read the report from the independent monitor to the DOE one of the areas Zenith was flagged in was admission phone call misrepresentation. Zenith was warned by the DOE to fix the problem or be slapped with a violation of their contract with the DOE. Apparently admissions were recorded still lying to prospective students.

Standardizing the scripts and responses is a preliminary step to outsourcing the function to a much less expensive service provider. We will pay them on a contract basis for each enrollment secured, not on an hourly basis regardless of results. Also - as a contract firm there are no benefits.

SO!SO!TRUE! We all sound like ROBOTS! What happened to "we change lives". All is a F***king Joke. No one really cares! The people in charge of the admissions department are idiots and they make the admissions reps look like idiots also! I am looking other work!
