The $100 gift cards we received was an extremely nice surprise! I did not expect to receive a bonus and it couldn't have come at a better time! We cannot lose sight of why we are here, people! It's hard to decipher through all the negativity to find actual facts! If you are still here, do as much as you can with what you are given... if you are truly miserable, leave! I always have my ears to the ground for new positions in other companies, but until a better one comes along, I'll do my job to the best of my ability.

Is that similar to what cable companies due to hook customers.....smoke screen to bait employees into thinking a product is superior when it's only superior at offering an obsolete product.

Agree with hdr . Nice gesture. Don't let it disguise the sad inevitable reality of what is to come. Look out for yourselves and your families and act accordingly.
Chill out -arw. It's Xmas. Theres no need to criticize the company for giving A gift for employees who are just trying to do the right thing. But after the holidays I think those same employees should brace for total teach out and unemployment. Don't wait for that. The job market is good right now. Make the move.
Don't lose sight of those millions in tax dollars. Put those students in deep debt for an education that's worthless so ECMC can collect millions more tax dollars servicing the delinquent accounts. That's your real purpose.
