Which campuses are profitable? I doubt that ANY of them are. Not even close. Not if you add overhead on top. I was at Cci and online is what made them profitable. Most of the campuses were not. Now the campuses are less than half the size they were when I was there. I suspect that Zenith is severely underwater.

They can start teaching out and closing more campuses. Some are for sale and more are scheduled for consolidation. They are definitely not going to continue to dump money into schools that are losing money.

After February, what does ECMC have to do to get out of the school business? Isn't this burden killing ECMC's bottom line? ECMC doesn't have deep pockets, like KKR or Apollo Global, who can take their time selling off assets.

WyoTech is for sale also. Someone needs to buy Laramie and Blairsville then consolidate them to Laramie. I believe one campus would be able to profit while still giving a good education. They would need to invest at least 5 to 10 million dollars for improvements and up dated training aids.

Hard to imagine what a campus is worth, if anything. No real estate (all leased. Poorly maintained equipment. The only assets are the enrollments, and most of those are at risk. ECMC may need to do what CCI did and essentially give away the schools. There will be some fast tap dancing during due diligence if a purchase deal is signed......
