Intel: Rebuilding The Old Moat Unlikely seekingalpha.com/article/4031060-intel-rebuilding-old-moat-unlikely

*Intel no longer has the same monopolistic powers which its alliance with Microsoft once provided.

*The demands associated with GPUs and mobile processor workloads, fields which Intel chose to ignore for long periods of time, have forced Nvidia and ARM to become area experts with strong market positions.

*I don't believe that Intel can overcome its own organizational entropy at this point.

Intel has woken up now and trying to catch the new trends and innovate in that space. Competition is far ahead in road and Intel is left behind. It's sad to see once a great company , now becoming a history.

Manager must toe the line or be shone the door, no real leaders at intel anymore!

Thanks for your response, 1uel. Yes, I have seen FLMs, SLMs and even TLMs create false stories based on real data just to save their own skins! Unreal and pathetic attitude of these scumbags to not stand behind real data and figure out how to resolve the issue. They'd rather play a false game of hide and seek, hiding the real truth.

Intel managers only want data presented if it makes them look good. They will not let you present data that actually DISPROVES a theory they may be risking their career on. In fact they will twist and even falsify the story you are presenting based on data that disproves their theory. I've seen people get bad reviews for presenting truthful information that disproves a manager's theory. This is one of many issues with the lying, scheming management at Intel.

Good for you @1dfe. That's not meant as a rude comment, even though it sounds rude via text. Glad to hear someone escaped and doing well. :)

Intel leadership lacks Vision.. I have seen this from low level manager all the way up the Chain. I have seen some very good leaders as well, however there are too many bad managers. Every manager is trying to climb up the ladder by stabbing other teams or by stealing credits. This culture is bad and ruining the company.. I quit Intel last year, i couldn't showcase my Talent or skills due to these stupid politics. I am doing much better outside Intel.

How arrogance and promotion of poor managers has resulted in the total collapse of the company.

Arrogance, ignorance and you name it. Negative selection, which will destroy the company. As you go laterally higher the chain, moron-ism is growing by power of two. Proportionally to the monies, these harlequins get for "selective social networking/selective social intelligence", they are so proud of!?

GPU really can you buy expertise with a small side purchase? Same question for AI, VR, and autonomous driving. Leadership requires huge investments over years. There is no shortcut to leadership in anything!

MS couldn't break into phones with a far bigger purchase!

Look at intel integrated graphics they $ucked and were worst inclass yet had leading edge process while ATI, Nvidia and AMD kicked intel in the balls on inferior process. Now they have same process capability!

I find it humueorus the mobile discussion, ARM totally owns mobile and Samsung and TSMC have such a huge lead they translated it from having a four year two generation process gap to being equal this year and will be ahead next year as they both ramp 10nm while intel struggle mightly on 10nm with 14nm no where near where they thought it would be. How arrogance and promotion of poor managers has resulted in the total collapse of the company.

Sorry more ACTs are coming, just look where the CEO tech leaders from the past decade sat, at the corners far from The president elect. Where would Andy have been sat? BK he technology clown of this decade!

Intel ... Dead. The employees who still work there actually believe they have careers. Joke.
