I really wondered what it would feel like when my old job (which I was "relieved of") was advertised as a position needing to be filled. Seeing it now I think it is funny that I am sitting with a new job, which pays great, and Devon did me the biggest favor of my life. Anyone who is stuck at Devon and scared everyday of losing their jobs, listen to me, there are numerous better companies to work for out there. My current position is head and shoulders above what Devon had to offer, so I guess what I am saying is, don't let the big "pretty" tower cloud your judgement. Devon is no longer the pinnacle of one's career anymore. Look around, see what else is out there, and you may find that the grass truly is sometimes greener! Good luck old friends!

Congratulations on finding a new job! It's great to see people moving-on from Devon to find new opportunities - especially if the opportunity allows you to do more than just learn a company process. Best wishes going forward!
Yes i see positions unfilled at devon, that i could easily fill. However Im happy where I am and that train has left the station! God is good. Move on.
There are opportunities out there for anyone who wants to get out of oil and gas. I've landed every job I'v applied for since I left Devon as an "early retiree". So have others.
