of course all of cablevision should be union!
however, it starts with you and you co-workers... contact your local union organizer for whichever town you're located and get the ball rolling before the Altice locomotive hits your department.
you seen what has happened already with Shelton Call Center + ROC (Stratford) + News12 CT/Westchester + Logistics dept + warehouse consolidations accross footprint......not to mention hundreds of various incremental layoffs across footprint.
their business model is not a secret ---> 100% Contract Labor to the lowest bidder. More layoffs are imminent and they will continue to find creative ways to get people to "voluntarily" leave.
ONE AND ONLY OPTION IS TO UNITE AND FIGHT THESE GREEDY CONNIVING CORPORATE BASTARDS.
Piscataway as well as Bronx have upcoming union elections.... this will certainly slow down the Altice locomotive, but it will not stop until entire footprint is unionized.
