It's like a ghost town now, every building is half empty. It's weird I feel like so many good people were let go while a lot of useless people stayed (besides me of course).
I noticed around 5/6 years ago, a lot of the same type of people started leaving on their own. The people who left were like the Balance GE needed. They were not yes men and women, they were smart and told it like it was. GE is small. You can probably think of a few I am thinking about.
So for one reason or another, those people left, and the yes people stayed. This lack of balance caused the ship to really start to sink. The balance ended. No ying/yang. This coincides with a certain person taking over. Maybe she surrounded herself with the wrong people? Did she force out all of the ones who gave it to her straight vs towing the corporate line?
I still work here but don't shop there. Prices are too high. Product quality down hill.
I still remember when the big goal was to be on the greatest places to work list. I still chuckle at that. Like how dumb do you have to be to think we could make that list. What a waste of resources.
Good luck everyone we know you got a raw deal.
