Tommy was brought in to bring Cabela's back to its core business. What was that really? A catalog selling fishing and hunting supplies. He wanted to get rid of the bank in his first couple of months on the job. Even Ralph wanted to get rid of it because he didn't understand it after he became CFO prior to Tommy. There were many things that started to happen when Millner came on board. The one post was correct, it just took longer than expected. But, the expansion in between didn't make sense!

The reasons for the current situation clearly rest with the folks at the top but keep in mind it was the Directors and Managers who passed the lies down to the Outfitters and when it came time to build the list they were the ones who identified the order in which we got screwed.

If there were Managers who were trying to make a difference or were not part of the Sidney group they were some of the first to go. After those Managers left, that actually cared about employees, the outfitters were screwed.

Hope karma exists and they all pay for what they have done to individuals and their families.

I can'e believe what I just read....Let me help you.....I (WE) didn't just fall of the turnip truck that was lost in Nebraska.....I (We) FULLY understand.....I (WE) were brought in, as you stated, as pawns to accomplish goals as well.......to work and run Cabelas locations across the country with tools that YOU (them) don't know how to use......You (them) surrounded yourselves with greedy, self serving people who you (they) THOUGHT could get on board. Most of them jumped off the train and for good reason.....I (WE) aren't sure what GOAL you actually had in mind.....I (WE) fully understand the process is strategic but we (I) also understand that there is no transparency. I (WE) also didn't know this was a GAME........This is real life....not a reality show....you are playing a dangerous game with peoples lives......Yes.....many pawns as you put it were sacrificed......but why????.......to protect the QUEEN and save the KING?????????......we (I)....the pawns were NOT the ones that made the ignorant business decisions that put us in the position to begin with.....we (I)...(the pawns) did not rape the companies resources buy giving ourselves stock options and bonuses that weren't earned or deserved.....I (we) didn't move the goal posts to benefit ourselves.....You (they) are the ones to blame......We (I) the pawns are the ones paying the ultimate bill for you to play your game.......Yes....soon it will be checkmate.....soon you will get your "Buyout" money and move on to the next company like a locust while we (I) the pawns are left holding the bag and picking up the pieces. I (we) weren't BORN TO WORK HERE..........I (we) may not have it IN OUR NATURE.........but we certainly are smart enough to know who is winning and who is losing....So before you come on this site again and insult us, I suggest you take a hard look in the mirror if you want someone to blame...........

Wow! You all don't understand. I (we) was (were) brought in to accomplish a goal. I (we) surrounded myself (ourselves) with people that could help us successfully accomplish this goal and get rid of those who would not be on board. Truth is it has taken longer than expected, but there wasn't a specific time frame established. What you fail to understand is this is a strategic process, a focused process, or you can call it a game. Many pawns were sacrificed. The ultimate goal is to win. Winning. Soon it will be check mate and on to the next. Thank you for playing.

Everyday that passes is just one more nail in the coffin of what was once a thriving and progressive community. Now all that is left is a shell gutted by the e-team and the Sidney cartel. Those who are left behind chose to stay of forced to stay because financial constraints, will be saddled with a hefty bill to pay, all due to the greed and over indulgence of the social elite who will have long fled the mess they created.

They are probably worried about keeping the lies straight and don't want to say anything that will go on the record.

Hope all of the employees that were loyal to the Cabelas for many years realize what they have done to us ( I was one of the fools who trusted them and the Sidney cartel).

They s---ered us all.
