This all is highly technical, but without getting into all the technical details of the calculations:

graduates/ # starts = completion rate

placed/ # graduates = placement rate

placed/ # starts = percentage starts who are eventually placed.

= Completion rate * placement rate

In the case of Everest, that's about

0.6 * 0.6 = 0.36, or about 35 to 40% of the students who start are placed.

You can look on their website, it gives the data. Completion average is around 60% which means about 40% of the students who started drop out before completing their studies but still are in debt.

55% placement is shockingly bad especially since that data only applies to those that complete the program and we know lots of students drop out from frustration. Arguably the programs under development should produce better outcomes but it won't matter if they are taught by the same instructors! also all of those programs are offered at the community college down the block.

Give credit to Zenith? Have you looked at the placement rates of Henderson? Average about 55% placement should scare everyone away from that worthless place. Plus they are accredited by the now defunct ACICS and continue to be denied accreditation by ACCSC. Another big waste of money by ECMC and students. Well, 33% of the students don't repay their student loans, so I guess it's not a waste of money for the students.

2nee, you forgot to mention, a lot better education also. Why would anyone pay 4 times the money for half the education at a fake school?

Note to prospective Henderson students, go see your community college admissions rep! Save mega dollars and incur no debt.

That's great news about Henderson. Let's give Zenith some credit!

Who cares, Zenith and everyone that works for them can go to hell. They screwed over thousands of students and employees and never gave a sh-- about it. I hope the whole f---ing thing blows up in their face and ECMC goes f---ing bankrupt like a lot of the people they totally f---ed over.

50% of the Henderson Campus is currently under construction for the following:

New Programs:

Dental - Diploma

Surgical Technician - Associate

Computer Technologies - Diploma and Associate

LPN bridge to RN

Revamped Business/Accounting Associate

Also, all PC labs getting upgraded computers and all classrooms getting smart boards installed.

Very exciting at this campus to finally see Zenith moving forward and investing in the schools.

What are the new programs going in at Henderson campus? Let me guess - more medical assisting labs. MA certificate = $10 hour.

They been trying to transition to ACCSC since June 2015 and it hasn't happened yet. Dave Hawn was secretly informed that the DOE was going to take down ACICS that's why they applied to ACCSC last year.

I've been told that all ACICS campuses are transitioning to ACCSC. Is that not true?

They can't just close the schools under ACICS and keep the others open, they are required by law to teach them out or reimburse the DOE.

I'm sure all the other accreditation bodies are begging for the new business. /sarcasm

I read that the henderson Nevada location of Everest has started massive construction for new programs even though they are on probation from ACICS ( on the acics website) for financial instability! Does this mean the whole accreditation process is a farce? Zenith must know that they will be accredited by ACCSC already, even though they are currently on probation. Why else would they pour cash into new programs and construction. The fix is in. The only losers... the uninformed students and employees that are conniving them to sign up.

More teach outs.....can you hear DOE cheering in the background? That will change if Zenith simply closes the ACISC schools, but that would run contrary to The Plan, unless enrollments are already below a given DOE threshold.

There's still about 10 Everest schools under ACICS accreditation. Zenith has been trying for 18 months to get these schools accredited by ACCSC with no luck. They don't meet ACCSC requirements and probably never will. So, what it means to Zenith is these schools will most likely go into teach out and closure. Teaching out schools cost millions which is more lost money for ECMC to absorb. That's how it affects Zenith.
