Heard and seen several things within the last few days. Supervisors have been running around like a couple of chickens with their heads cut off. As far as I have heard management safe, 40+ rampies may get laid off.
They have started. First round was about 2 weeks ago. Second round of restructuring is this week it looks like.
I was just thinking who would be the first to say something so misinformed. 39b in earnings not profit. But why read an entire paragraph when the headline has all the info you need right? United also has 1k more management employees then its two main competitors of similer size. Just think about that for a moment.
Heard through the grapevine that a re-org is underway, primarily for Managing Directors and certain departments. This appears to be related to the new senior leadership taking over and executing their vision for the company. Wish the very best to all who are now in a transition phase and they land on their feet soon.
