Interesting thread about ECMC on this site. Check it out. Sounds like ECMC leadership is floundering. Any Zenith employees have some insight?

Bullying people to enroll....YES THAT IS HAPPENING.
I used to work for CCi. Who is running Zenith now? The leadership must be really bad if placements are worse today. Low enrollments and strong economy. How hard can it be?
Actually, Zenith is the polar opposite of CCi. If anything, Zenith is being ran by a group of eggheads (educated idiots) who don't know anything about operating an education institution or non-profit institutions. They have become very good a micromanagement, however, and recruitment and the "big picture" for growth don't seem to be on the table. There will be more closings mostly because of ignorance and the ability to have a plan for the future other than selling what's left after the next closings.
I really miss Dave Hawn.
The location I " work" at has even gone as far as calling the admissions team (salesmen) retention specialists.... I assume because they aren't enrolling anyone, they have to start brainwashing or bullying those poor unfortunate ignorant ones who actually did sign on the dotted line and find anyway possible to get them through those meaningless programs.
I would say it's getting more like Corinthian Colleges every day. All you hear about is student retention, don't let them leave, we need to keep them here. I remember Dave Hawn saying, it's not about how many students we enroll, it's about student outcome. Well that philosophy went away when Dave Hawn left, now it's all about the money. I can definitely see more closings and consolidations coming this year because Zenith is still burning through the cash and the new executives aren't happy about it. The mother ship "ECMC" isn't the "CASH COW" it was two years ago because they aren't getting the student loan portfolios from the DOE like they had been. I would bet that Dave Hawn seen this coming and that is the reason he stepped down.
