This dirty trcik practice came from tech mahindra where non local employees in Pune and Mumbai are fired whenever there is ramp down in any project non marathi are put on bench and made to age on bench and surreptitouly prevented from getting allocated even when found eligible for project opportunities
beware dont fall to bait of offer from pune companies if u are non local lateral hire, from day one marathis will be asked to shadow your and once they are comfortable and your skill transferred to them will be fired . They keep talking about process orientation and mentoring etc to fool people into sharing their knowledge and skills... and ofering mgmt roles...
Maybe one in India has to create their own future projects and rely less on the rest of the world.
