Everybody has an opinion. Its easy to knock a person down when you don't have to do that job. Its true T does not have field experience but compared to SOME not all of the engineer want to be's that the organization had to suffer through T has much more to offer. Keep up the hood work T
I wish they would paint! A new color and some motivating signs would really help. I like the dogs playing poker with the motto "be ready to fold". Other favorites are:
Hang in there baby!
Stich in time saves nine.
You can lead a CEO to water but you can't make him think.
So easy to recognize the posts made by MRO HR trolls and always good for a laugh!
Please leave those who left the company alone. Shame on you. Clearly a disfunctional company; there is more to it than making difficult decisions as a boss. It was changing the culture to fostering outright hatred. We have lost respect for each other and replaced the family friendly team building environment with mean, backstabbing competitive individuals. MRO has fallen from grace since the CEO came on board. He owns it. A total disgrace. He's probably a two faced Christian somewhere. The two who left already know how awful it was and by now can't believe they stayed as long as they did. I hope the employees go to church over Christmas and take to heart all of the terrible things most have done and ask for forgiveness. If you dig deep you will realize how you changed over the past few years. Can you say you are proud of yourself? Can you say you treat others with respect? Are you building your peers up or tearing them down? Your job and paycheck is not worth losing your soul.
I want to know more about the rainbows 🌈and unicorns 🦄.
I don't agree with the comment regarding the 2 GSC senior SMEs being walk out having all that experience and value they bring Brought to the table. If you don't add value and use the experience one claims to have had then yes they should be walked out. The other was just disgusted with how their manager ran the group. People tend to lose drive when there is no management support. YES being let go during holidays is never good for anybody and I feel for them for that. Should have been handled during all the other reductions.
You're right. Attitude reflects leadership!
Hey, if you are that unhappy LEAVE. Take you poor attitude and just leave.
Blue Jeans believes that all you need is a Manager that is an SME and a team of low level staff or technicians. It will be very difficult for anyone to be promoted above a Grade 14.
Back to the main theme of this website, I heard two GSC senior SMEs were walked out of the door right after Thanksgiving. It seems no matter what experience or value one can bring, if your paygrade is above certain magic number and you are not part of the club then your days are timed. I am sure these are all part of the "tough decisions" those managers are paid to make.
It must be a woman.
Yep. The "whilst" gave him away.
The X MOC employee sits on 41.
It's almost guaranteed that the guy they hired is buddies, married, or somehow related to the person who hired him. Nepotism is marathon's hiring policy, it doesn't matter what your experience level is.
And what about the goofy new Marketing manager with the nervous laugh. He has no North America experience. Do they just hire the cheapest person they can find or were qualified candidates not interested in working here. They must not have looked very hard to hire someone so inexperienced.
Accept and know MRO is not going to change. It won't get better. Put some goals together, enjoy Christmas and be proactive in working on you in the New Year. You have nothing to lose by going to an agency where they do the groundwork to get you interviews and a potential job. Practice interviewing if you haven't done it in a while. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Staying isn't going to remove their rank and yank system or change the environment. The longer you stay the less confident you will be. Management isn't going to change and your peers will continue to stab you in the back. You will no longer need to hear the complaints about the HR VP having control over the CEO. Leave that problem with the person who doesn't have control and is jealous of their relationship.
Prolly a Brit or Scott jackoff...they are all over our wonderful company.
Which jackoff in particular? Aren't they all jackoffs down there!
Lol. You must work with that Jackoff from SA.
If you really think it's a good place to work, just watch how many leave when the job market hote up.
GSC are worthless, no experience, no work ethics, no idea what we do as a company. Plan it, track it , fuc* it
You are right it could be worse, but once you leave it becomes apparent how miserable the environment and morale is at MRO. Morale will not improve until they change the HR leadership. She is so disliked and there is no trust or respect for management with her controlling the communication and Lee.
There are many worse places. You have led a blessed life if Marathon is the worst you have seen. There are also better places. I recommend searching for a new job and simultaneously trying to improve your current situation. You can your odds of something good happening. Good luck.
GSC , the inmates have taken over the asylum
there's a line?... such a antiquated statement.. now you can sit behind your computer and collect..
ever stood in the line for unemployment benefits?
