Ind. government to acquire Intel.
@cuc - Nvidia's market cap is over 51 billion now. An amiable merger at best with Jen-Hsun Huang as the CEO. Talks were rumored in 2012 with just that scenario:

Besides Jen-Hsun has long had a beef with Intel.
[ From 2008 (https://www.cnet.com/news/nvidia-ceo-goes-on-intel-rant/)
Intel will purchase Nvidia
Intel does not have the capital to purchase another company for 15 billion. Intel has a debt position, not a cash position. Their debt position has increased markedly through 2013, 2014, and 2015. Intel sold 2.75 billion in bonds this past summer:

Keep in mind that revenue does not equal profit. The profit margins, even in servers shrank this year:

So, no matter what your revenue is, it's profit that pays off debts. I doubt that there is a purchase of AMD in the foreseeable future.
Hahaha. Blah, blah, blah.
Agree - $15B gets it done! Not bad.
Intel really needs graphics power. AMD really needs cash. Both really need to fight Nvidia.
