Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Forget Jason... Forget Freddy Krueger... What if Oracle spins-off their languishing HW business and merge it with HPE under Hurd as the CEO?

My prediction is that will be announced by Q2 2018. Bookmark this post, as I was the first one that said it, and it was on December 5th, 2016... Circa HP-Compaq 2001... Companies do crazy things like that in order to extend their lives for a few more years, so I wouldn't be surprised at all...

I also predict that Cisco will spin-off some of their business as well. That's the current trend with the old behemoths, so Cisco is past overdue already.

Actually, Meg's reign wasn't too bad in the beginning before the hpq/hpe split. But eventually, she went from a good-natured Dr. Jekyll to an evil, destructive Mr. Hyde after the split.

I'm almost glad to be spun off to CSC, life under Hurd the Turd would be even more miserable than the last 8 years under HP/HPE. What an arrogant, nasty little man he is.

Whoever ends up CEO of the HPE remnants... it will be like Oprah: "You get a pay cut, You get a pay cut, and you get a pink slip! Everybody gets pay cuts and pink slips!"

I agree. Hurd was and is a full NO GO. Met him once during a coffee talk. Covers his personallity with arrogancy. Beside the missing soft skills, we all saw what he did on the professional side. In light of a current Meg.... The Hurd disaster tends to get forgotten. I know from Oracle folks that he runs their HW division exactly with the same old handwriting. A merge with the remaining HPE would be an employee armageddon

That would be a huge mistake, but... Based on the historical ability of the HP/HPE Board to be the joke of the Industry, I wouldn't be surprised at all. Hurd's reign was one of the worst anti-employees ever - only surpassed by Granny Meg's current tenure.
