you should read the company press release and not all of the stuff you see on the internet. The formal press release has all of the details. Not 600, but rather 320.
Lots of layoffs happening right now. They scan their ID and if it gets flagged a SUV transports them to HR to get laid off
Layoff today saw director of merch being led out
Sea World is gong to take that $79.00 & that money is going to make their profit for the company look better then it other wise would have. I believe with that $79.00 they will use that money to lay off more people wish they hope to make their profits look better at the end of the years. I gave them so many ideas. I made the company millions & they never said thank you. I told them long before I retired in 2002 that they was going to loss their jobs after I left there & I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get bought out. You haven't seen anything yet. Just wait until Joel Manby leaves. I think Joel is a great guy & he is really trying hard but he needs a lot of help & I don't think he has the right people who can help him.

I can state as a matter of fact that sw orlando let go of their merch vp. Most I know is Monday or Tuesday of next week is the most likely the full cut day.
There are supposed to be roughly 600 layoffs happening companywide, and happening "soon". But no one seems to know exactly when. It's too quiet to have been today

Corporate positions or within a specific park. A VP "resigned" in one of the parks, but it wasn't merchandise. Maybe consolidating some department heads? No word from corporate? Nothing in the news.
