I am with HAL, Aramco was lucky indeed - we've been cutting deep for about 24 months now
You bunch at aramco have been lucky is all. The rest of the other lOC' s have been slash and burn mode for 18 months. Welcome to our world.
The board is actually very lively - it's not visible though. All messages are buried in a single discussion ( see it here https://www.thelayoff.com/t/IF2wAWy or use this link @IF2wAWy ) - we have over 13,000 views as of right now with more than 70 people replying.
There is a lot of anger and frustration but in general people are civil.
I think we all got humbled by this experience - I did not expect it even though deep down inside me there was something telling me it was coming.
