Thread regarding Saudi Aramco layoffs

I had really good 2 years in Saudi Arabia and learnt a lot about the local culture, customs and religion.

Similarly to Expat Aramco Employee I am waiting for the bomb to drop but when it does I will do it in a professional manner.

I had really good 2 years in Saudi Arabia and learnt a lot about the local culture, customs and religion. I was involved in some mega projects here and am happy that my expertise could contribute to the growth of Saudi Aramco and Kingdom, as well as professional development of some young Saudi employees.

I wish all the best to you all in those challenging times.

Pffft

Troll?

20-25 yr guys walk out of here with their severances and never look back. Nobody "enjoys" the life or local culture in Saudi Arabia. Saudis get out at any possible opportunity. What a crock this thread is. At best local culture is tolerated because of the money they pay to keep their illusion of control.

The company has been deteriorating. So I can believe that it used to be much better than now.

Don't believe a word this person is saying. This looks like the Aramco PR apparatus at play 😃

Same here - 11 years. Left on my own. The company was good for me and I had an amazing time working.

I wish you all the best.
