I too was laid off after 18 years. The company could care less about their employees and is a fear based management company. Take it as a blessing, there is no morale, they are ridding those over 40 with bonus and pensions and hiring at much lower grades. It's chaos and not a place you want to work.

Dday june 15 for gbs workplace. Hope they start at the top... especially w the head of their workplace 2020 group, narcissistic, miserable, poor leader. wasted money renovating a campus versus saving jobs. Amazing how the folks with the wrong, entitled attitude can still behave in a manner in which they do. Say goodbye to the company that used to be amazing, ethical, for the people. Mr. Goizuetta would be so disappointed.
They really don't care . It use to be it was the quality of the work now It is how much you can get done I. A day .sure go back the next day and try and fix it or tell the customer you have to swap out the machine Constantly changing pricing depending on the customer.
I have not left the company yet, even though at 55+ years of age I have a target on my back.
The previous poster said that: "It's chaos and not a place you want to work." - I can attest to that, it's very crazy internally with lines shifting and people leaving constantly due to voluntary attrition or just being laid off.
A large number of people that I know were older workers, well compensated but very knowledgeable. Coca Cola does not value experience and quality any more - people with experience are being laid off and they are bringing in junior resources or folks with lower pay, often recent immigrants with degrees from India.
I am not sure how all of this will end, but I can tell you that the company is going down the drain...
