Thread regarding CSC layoffs

Look ahead to your 2017 CSC benefits

They recently sent out a link where you can see what your new costs will be. My healthcare premiums went up 40%! Thankfully the plan deductibles, terms, and maximums changed only a little. I know from the news that industry rates went up, but I am willing to bet that CSC dropped its contribution significantly also. Unsurprisingly they only gave the net number, and were silent on the company contributions.

Look for the email entitled "Look ahead to your 2017 benefits." The link is in there.

@4qda - interesting. Maybe it varies by state or plan tier.

CSC is paying less for my insurance this year, you can see what they put up and it's less.

Since we haven't got a pay increase in years, CSC should have stepped up and at least covered the increase insurance costs, for me the company is paying less into it than last year. So it I end up with less again.

Bet the Board and the CEO get BIG bonuses for this....

Are they talking about benefits in 2017? You got to be a stupid to believe that. You want to hand in with CSC any longer, just mind your head. There are going to be extensive layoffs. I managed to sneak in to another country, by hook or by crook. But not everyone is so lucky. I pray CSC RIP.

Its a farce. There were absolutely no hikes this year. Whatever paltry increments were offered to the freshers were paid on an incremental basis. There have been no hikes for 3 years now and CSC is just a sinking Titanic.

I am the original poster. Open enrollment started today, and I need to give credit where it's due, turns out I was wrong and CSC did NOT drop its contribution. If the contribution numbers on the enrollment site are correct, the 40% increase was entirely carrier driven. Just wow.
