Thread regarding McKesson Corp. layoffs

On the bright side

We get to have pizza next week with the exec who made the decision to replace American citizen employees with labour from India. This Jim is much, much worse than the last one.

This is all about currency manipulation. There is no cheap labor-just workers who are paid well because their country has dropped their local currency value compared to the US $ so they appear cheaper than the US worker.

If you are worried about this endless drain of US jobs, contact your congressman/senator-tell them about what you think.

@K4kjLuw-1enc: Sushi Shah. That's perfect. I was wondering where that smell of anchovies was coming from.

The last meetings/pizza I had with executives were really useless. They didn't even bother being sincere, but hey - when you have no sales and all the payroll overhead might prevent you from getting a bonus, why be nice? In those meetings, you simply being across the table from them was a bad thing.

Not sure why he's bothering. Leadership has messed with our heads too much already. But it's been shown time and again that sheep will still show up to be fed before their slaughter.
