Some people were invited to a call (calls?) that's going on right now. Apparently some have received a 5 month notice and others have been cut immediately.
I think if you're not on the call, you're okay? I didn't get invited to anything, just hearing things second hand.
This is awful.
Is the "Red Feller" still VP of HR? He was laid off from Whirlpool in Mi and was worthless when it came to HR problems when an employee needed assistantace with an abusive manager. Maybe he was just following the "secret" HR manual instead of the published "ICARE" principles the rest of us are supposed to be brainwashed with.

So sorry for these wonderful people. A lot of my friends were still at McKesson. I left over a year ago (what a relief it was), but have been warning my friends to have their resume ready because I knew this day was coming.
Unfortunately, this type of treatment IS THE MCKESSON WAY!!!!!!!

Apparently Nimmy the Cackling Hyena is only interested in retaining his off-shore labor force. It looks good on paper. Of course, these people have no clue how to write code, but that doesn't matter anymore. May these executives rot in their own piles.
Laid-off in early 2016. It was the best thing. I am sorry for the folks that were left. The past few years were painful. It was hard to see the products we worked so hard on go downhill.

I was laid off on one of the calls today. I'm a Charlotte employee...2 weeks to find something different, but I think I heard the layoff is effective IMMEDIATELY...it was a lot of information.
What are the numbers being laid off? In the hundreds? My group is waiting...ugh

Were people given end dates of 11/11 and 12/1? based on the leaked email. I heard some people got 03/31 and some were shown the door today.

Yes, I've talked to a few folks. Here's the general impression I'm getting (but I haven't talked to everyone, obviously).
Those laid-off: "I'm sort of relieved."
Those not laid-off: "Sort of wish it had been me..."
