We've had layoffs that are postponed reinstated canceled back on postponed canceled 5 or 6 times in past 3 months. Parts from Mexico don't fit are poor quality outta tolerances interiors outta china and Romania garbage that doesn't fit doors won't close zero adjustment and told Make it work!! We started MetroLinx Oct/Nov of 2015 and it was 2 years behind before the first nut was turned. But we have all the big shots there complaining weekly when it's their doing that got us in this mess!! When they come for their tours we're told we're not to even mention Mexico or the problems. They want things to work perfectly when they've already set us up to fail....

It's not that the Mexicans cannot do the job, it's just that management try to apply the same principles around the world for production facilities...
Most Senior Management has been let go, so that tells you something.
Unfortunately, that doesn't help the situation.
Management need to admit the mistakes made and be totally honest with their customers and not revise their schedules ever few months.
The Thunder bay plant is a mess, look no further than the leadership team....(not all but there are a few "special" ones there)
The union contract will be up next year....I wonder if that could be a problem???
I would say that job security will be the top issue....
Any aircraft parts from Morocco,and China are off very poor quality, C,series and Lear jet parts all have to be reworked.
