Let's not point fingers at the lesser bees. These situations are all caused from the top. Jim m and other major execs have never handled this company nor its direction properly. Incompetence and lack of understanding future expectations has taken its toll over his tenure. Could not not keep the legacy systems afloat --can only make so many changes, and trying to make Paragon something other than what it was designed for just was never going to happen. Money, not quality nor functionality, has been and always will be the driven force that put McKesson in decline.

Who all received this email and was it directly from SG? What DL did it go out to?

I am not sure if she is still here after her big MISTAKE.
Haven't seen her in a week. Heard she was taking PTO, who knows....EIS Is done done done.
Sue is (was?) the admin for the SVP Customer Services and Operations at McKesson.
What did the email say???
Who is Sue? No last name please. And in what department does she work, who does she report to, etc. I was an EA at McK for over eight years and never ran across something quite like this.
You must not being paying attention, The Hammer sells that much in stock every few months. It's good to be the king!
Well now we know why John Hammergren sold of 18 mil in stock. No insider trading there at all!
Paragon laboratory and ancillaries product manager and business analyst were let go.
With that, McKesson is now officially out of the lab and diagnostic imaging business.

Some people were invited to a call (calls?) that's going on right now. Apparently some have received a 5 month notice and others have been cut immediately. I think if you're not on the call, you're okay? I didn't get invited to anything, just hearing things second hand. This is awful.

For example, if FirstName1 LastName1 is going to hold an all people manager call on 10/26 after leaders have been notified,
the list we provide to you of leader to exclude due to being impacted will include those leaders who end employment on Nov 11th or Dec 1st (unless they are in a working notice).
FirstName3 LastName3 will be creating these lists for you to reference while you and the leader work to get these communication meetings scheduled.

I learn that the hard way, thing is that moderators of this site do not allow posting employees names, and that is a general rule for all companies' boards, not just for McK. I was banned from this site two months ago, all my posts got deleted and IP blocked (I'm on proxy ever since, slows me down a lot). You can check their content rules somewhere at the page footer, there are some other rules regarding foul language and talking politics.

Apparently that's how to get promoted at McKesson. It explains a lot, too. This company has a very 1950s management approach. Boys club at the top, token minorities put in positions with no future, and workers who have carried the product through all the corruption and all the lies. These executives are rotten to the core.

Sad to see what EIS has become. The environment in the offices I have been in is so toxic, and most are waiting to be RIF'd if they can hold out that long. Sad for Sue that this leaked.. No damage control that EIS can do, for once.
With all of the delays in Paragon releases and the layoffs it seems MCK has already made the decision to close down Paragon/EIS. Nobody wants the albatross and the sinking is accelerating.
