56 of the laid off employees are in Washington, 10 are here in the Commercial Airplanes unit.

At least 10 of those were IT in Missouri.
Has anyone heard of another VLO to be offered that would include the 61403 jobs?
So were the remainder (from the 180) from states such as MO or CA or....?
Was it only Engineers that received the Notices or were other skills including Managers and Human Resource types issued notices as well? I have yet to hear a layoff notice given to a non-Engineer at Boeing.
My experience has been that about 50% the people with WARN notices are able to find another position within Boeing, with no help from the manager.
The lucky ones on the other half are the ones who have enough seniority and are able to retire with full pension and medical.
