Thread regarding Bombardier layoffs

It is easier to make educated & experienced employees redundant, rather than to fix processes

Not really the evolution of mobility, especially social mobility. Place is doomed. Corporate mobbing more important than working. Lot of people on power trips, for now. Sad really.

Chickens always come home to roost though. I hope all the critical processes are being carried out as the regulatory requirements require, as the services of inspection are not required. Due to the number of non conformances put on the NCMS system it is easier to make educated & experienced employees redundant, rather than to fix processes. Personally in my opinion only, i would stick with Boeing or Airbus as bombardier can not fulfill any of the empty promises they make to their customers.

Management like to talk the talk, push the envelop, focus on the paper on all of the walls and make sure all is green, ensure all subordinates are are carrying out their duties with a sense of urgency, while making sure that they can maintain high scores on candy crush. Never mind if there are any problems reported, workers endure managements unconscious bias that the employee is a trouble maker, for example bombardier don't need swl, safe working load limits on autoclave loading trolleys where tons of tools are far from safe on the second deck, tooling swaying badly when loading not to mention autoclave manuals for procedural safety regarding pressure vessels, Newtownabbey for example. Etc, ect, ect.

Don't get me started on the supposed lab tests required for compliance. More concerns available on request.

Storm subsided, bombardier defeated due to severe over inflated egos stemming from Canada and extruding through the fissures of a conference call to Belfast. Everyone peeing on each others legs . Said This years ago and wow what frowning. I knew bbd would have failed unless they approached the project with humility and developed the C series / A220 as yes, an excellent aircraft, Belfast designed, but lacking support from the two giants. This aircraft should have been prosperous for all from the beginning, not some gamble from the start. Gambling with the economy and the human beings security in life. Quite sad really.

Does more cooperative mean turning a blind eye to non conforming products. Then the garden looks all nice and green. Wait until there is an investigation, then there will be the truth. God bless all who puts their faith in certain individuals within bombardier.

Things might be different now, they are. uncontrolled processes, quality escapes. etc. Quiet nobody knows. It has been established as fact about management failings. The 20 percent bull is to subsidize the excessive m grades. I would have thought someone is entitled to their opinion. You appear to be a clairvoyant. Seems he / she hit a nerve. I hope you are ok and not taking things to heart.

The person who wrote this article is clearly an idiot, and probably is an ex employee who is bitter and twisted .....maybe if the ex employee used his "so called" experience then things might be different now, oh wait a minute, it was all the managements fault !!!... I think not.

Maybe if this employee had been more cooperative, less negative and had done the job he was being paid to do instead of wallowing in self pity day in day out

I truly hope the company rides the storm and returns to being a great company to work for, for those that are left
