Since the place is completely closed and now going through bankruptcy litigation, does anyone know the proper & easiest way to get your W-2 when you need to file 2016 taxes?
Did a little searching on the web and found some lengthy answers, but didn't know if anyone had any experience with this first hand.
I did log into ADP and grabbed copies of all of my 2016 pay stubs.
ADP has mailed 2016 W-2's.
Mine arrived in the mail on Feb 2nd.
how can i get my W2? i do not have my last paycheck, and i was never given a ADP account. i didnt stress about it before as i assumed my W2 would be mailed to me as before. am i to assume that i will not be getting these mailed to me?

Not that you will need it now since W-2's have been posted to ADP, but the employer ID of any public company can be found on their 10-K fillings with the SEC.

I posted ITT-Tech's EIN number yesterday, but the webmaster deleted the post. That is really unusual for this site, but there you go.

We had the same concerns after Corinthian Colleges went bankrupt and closed but we all got them. If ITT used a payroll company they will mail them out after January 31, 2017. I kept all my pay stubs just in case but didn't need them. Good luck to you all, I understand what you are going through.
Just FYI, if you have paystubs, you can provide Form 4852 as a substitute for a W-2 in case you don't get it.

I am in agreement, download from ADP a copy of your last paycheck. Also a copy of last year W2 in that W2 of last year is the ITT information as their tax id number, etc. If ADP is not available at the time of W2 filling season, most probably you will need these documents as I have mentioned. Another source maybe Turbo Tax. Good luck to all
I concur.............1) if ADP is still available, 2) you can use your last pay check to make an estimate
I might have figured it out, but I'm going to contact someone to be sure.
Looks like ADP will have W-2 available after Jan. 31 according to their website.
The issue is that if ITT quits paying them, will the continue to provide W-2 forms for former employees.
