Thread regarding ITT Educational Services Inc. layoffs

No! Keep this website so we get and share information because ITT HQ or the bankruptcy Trustee sure aren't.

I can't speak for HQ, but I think that none of the campus directors or deans or anyone who just lost their job got any extra pay. They are all looking for jobs and will have a difficult time because of the name "ITT Technical Institute" on their resume.

What happened to all the executive directors of these schools? Pensions? Payoffs? Were they in the know? Did teachers get severance pay?

I'm not a student nor an ex-employee but I do live near a campus that is now a ghost town. Years ago(30+) I worked for Ross Medical and it was a for profit. The staff new all about most of the shenanigans that were being pulled. This doesn't mean the ITT directors did....but I would think so.

Are they now all "retired" living on a nice pension???

I'm disappointed there is no follow up on the news. It's a "non-story" now. Sad.

How many songs can you come up with? Styx LADY. Kenny Rogers LADY. LADY from Flashdance movie. And what's that song that goes Lady pretty lady you bring me up when I'm down?? Could be Lionel Richie. Maybe the dude who has no life and stalks lady posters can come up with another Lady tune, in honor of the lady whose husband worked for ITT. Think that dude is crushing???

Why should this board end?

The debt left with students who were misled will take them years to repay back.

The ITT Tech story should be a reminder for decades to come.

Web site administrator, thank you for removing the posts of the lady who identified herself as "My Hubbie Worked for ITT Tech for Twelve Years." Her rantings were pretty crazy.

At first she was just annoying, but the really toxic razor blade post bordered on the unhinged. I think most people were able to avoid reading that truly disturbing post, as it was only up for a few minutes, thanks to your quick action.

I think another possibility here is that the OP is jealous that this website is still hopping, while the ESI stock forums are shutting down.

Quite a few delusional stock holders are left with the bag as ITT Educational Services -- ESI -- stock is trading for a few cents a share.

YAHOO finance website just closed its investor forum for ESI, even though a few die hards were still actively moaning and groaning same old BS about how life is unfair and DOE killed ITT etc etc. That crowd doesn't gain much traction on this forum!

This website is a genius move by someone. Think about all of the add revenue that is generated. Bunch of upset former employees complaining for a month or so and then another company will go out of business and the cycle repeats. Genius!

end this ITT Technical Institute board...so we can all just move on with our lives
