Morale is not absolute and contrary to popular belief has little to do with robust compensation for those who actually take the risks. The ones who choose what fat needs to be trimmed as well as when and where. Sure lower commodity prices effect bonuses of normal rank and file salaried employees but the base salary is security, unless you are part of the fat to be trimmed. So yeah six dollars is a turd in the koolaid some of you so overly indulge in. However make no mistake we will be serving more with extra sugar. With the new norm and reality of commodity prices along with our current position you think we are just supposed to play nice and do "the right thing" and carry on like "family". You think we don't read the crap on here and personal attacks? I can tell you that it makes it easier to trim the fat. Nothing personal.

Ole Carl still has half of his investment in which means he is long chk. I'm guessing he found something short term that will produce a better return. Chk is going to have to live below its means for a while to pay off $9.5 billion in debt. That takes a while.
